In this video, we are going to change the Windows Background image and test a couple of themes.
To get started, right click anywhere on the desktop, making sure not to click on an icon and choose Personalise from the menu. Now click on Background in the middle of the window.
On the right hand side of the window, click on the drop down menu. You can choose a Picture, a plain solid colour, a slideshow of your images in your Pictures folder, OR Windows Spotlight which gives you daily scenic images and fun facts.
If you choose Picture or Slideshow, you can choose images from your computer.
Let’s have a look at the themes. Click on Personalisation to go back to the previous menu. This time we are going to click on Themes.
Microsoft has provided some standard themes, such as “Light”, “Dark”, “Spotlight” and more, simply click on one to make it active.
If you don’t see one that you like, you can pick one from the store by clicking the Browse Themes button.
